Joint account with family
If I open joint savings accounts with my grown up children (all over 18) and deposit say £25000 in each one what are the tax implications when they withdraw money from the account. I'm trying to give them access to our money without worrying about IHT in case we don't survive 7 years.

Monzo App - Auto Logging out?
I've got the Monzo banking app installed on my phone as well as the Lloyds app. The Lloyds app will automatically log me out after a few minutes of inactivity, yet the Monzo app doesn't and I can't see anyway of doing so. Account is opened with name Smith C. We add wife and eventually RBS confirms change…

Whatever Happened To Offset Accounts?
I was reminded of these accounts today, where your mortgage was essentially a giant overdraft on your current account. I think Virgin was a big proponent of them early in 2000s. The idea was that you would pay less interest on your mortgage because you had all of your current account money bringing the overall total down.…
