Why can't DDs be processed on a weekend?
Does anyone know? Unusually, I can't find anything on the internet about it. Just seems weird that, as they are entirely automatic, they can only be processed on a weekday.

Just hoping I could pick the collective minds. I will be selling my house soon and just want to place the proceeds of the sale in a safe place for a number of months whilst hunting for a new house possibly abroad. Closing a lapsed account with Starling - cannot pass security Qs
Many years ago (5+ maybe more?) I tried to open an account with Starling Bank. I got as far as confirming my ID with a video on the app, but never received any confirmation after that point and got frustrated with them so didn't follow it up, and assumed it had failed to be processed somewhere along the line. I've just…

Switching account multiple times in a row
As the title says I’m looking at both the current Lloyds switch and NatWest/RBS accounts, I’ve looked through T&Cs and can’t see anything about a minimum stay period would this mean once I’ve met the conditions to receive the money and have received the money I’d be able to switch again almost immediately?

Avoiding current account minimum pay-in
Say a current account has a £5 fee per month unless at least £2500 is paid in per month. Can you avoid this fee if your salary is under £2500 per month by just temporarily transferring into another account then moving it back by BACS thereby technically making the total paid in over £2500? Thanks :)
