Current account switching

I'm with Santander....wouldn't  mind switching to first direct...I've done some research on the forum...you have to go through cass...to get full incentive....but dont wantto do a full  switch...earlier posts suggest you can open another current account with your main bank...transfer a couple of dds.to 2nd current account...and offer that  Fd..to get full cass going

If by saying you don’t want to do a full switch you mean you don’t want your Santander account closed .. I would use a different account as FD will close it as part of the switch

Yes, that's what's normally recommended (the threads about this sort of thing will typically be on the bank account board as this is a better fit than the ISA one).
