Is there a list of what banks do/don't show DD before first payment?

I don't know but in my experience most do, Natwest is the only bank I've used that doesn't.

Lloyds.
I set up TFL Autopay DD in Feb 2023, and it's been showing as an active DD on my account since then.
The first payment was taken last week.0 -
I’ve only known Royal Bank of Scotland to do this and presumably NatWest and Ulster Bank are the same.On another note. Some banks annoyingly show the word “first payment” on your first direct debit transaction on your statement if it is the first payment since it has been set up.0

Presumably this is to draw attention to it so that the account holder can investigate if it’s fraudulent. I’m not sure why you find this annoying.steven141 said:On another note. It’s usually categorised differently when you use apps that show all payments to that company on apps like Snoop.Ballard said:
