Barclays Switch - cannot open new account on app?
Am trying to open a new account so I can do the switch via the app.. but does not give me the option.. just to register with one of their accounts/CC/investor accounts. I see from other threads, that there should be "I'm new to Barclays" option showing.. but I can't see it?

Direct debit cancelled by bank. Now I get missed payment on credit card
So, today I learned that HSBC will cancel a direct debit if it's not used for 13 months. And so a credit card that I hadn't used in a while just charged me a default fee and will mark my credit file. For the sake of £5! I had no idea they did that and no notification that they would cancel it! I called the credit card, it…

Best app/account/service for getting some money efficiently from the US to the UK
My wife has recieved an inheritance in the USA, it's not mega-bucks, under six figures, but is large enough that a couple of percent of difference in fees adds up to a large enough sum of money that I'd like to minimise the cost. This is also reliant on family and a solicitor cooperating in the US, so it needs to be…

Hyperjar 2%
Apologies if there's an existing topic covering this - the only thing I could find was about a previous offer. I've been getting steadily more annoyed with Chase constantly trimming back their benefits, although it was still one of the better deals out there. On paper Hyperjar looks better, but old feedback on this forum…
