Opening Lloyds Under 19's Account (regarding LBG applications)

Hi MSE Forum
On 3rd February 2025, I opened a Halifax Expresscash Current Account.
I'm now interesting in opening a Lloyds Under 19's Account, but I've heard that Lloyds can permaban customers who open too many accounts with LBG in a short space of time. Will I be ok to get this Lloyds Under 19's Account, or should I wait to open it and open an alternative account in the interim?

The only bans I've read about are for those determined to exploit incentives by opening lots of accounts, so having two within the same group really isn't an issue. I think I have seven LBG accounts, albeit opened across many years and mostly dormant....1

Ah ok, that's good to know. I wasn't planning on exploiting anything/doing anything dodgy, I just don't wanna get declined for a LBG kid's account.
Thanks for your help!0 -
Just to add - its what goes through the accounts that banks will worry about - not how many accounts you hold.
