Declaring extra income
I'm in full time employment right now, earning £1250 a month after tax. I wanted to earn extra income which could potentially boost my income by over £1000 a year. Do I need to register as self employed, or can I just declare the income as extra earnings?

Signed up to Slicethepie a few years ago but I stopped doing anything there and hadn't heard from them for ages, until the past couple of months. I'm asking this question on behalf of an elder family member who doesn't go online much. Some cultures/families invest in gold jewellery 'for the future' and 'just in case'. Whilst some families wear it, no one does in ours. So you'll end up with unworn jewellery on the shelf which seems like a waste. People don't even…
