FAQ

How can I earn money through Swagbucks?
There are a number of ways you can earn Swagbucks, many can be repeated each day. These include:

• Play - 10SB for playing short browser-based games
• Daily Poll - 1SB
• Watch - 1-3SB per playlist on browser
• Watch via Swagbucks app - 10SB (+ bonuses)
• Discover - eg 1SB for Offer Toro 1-Click offers
• Surveys - 5SB daily DQ limit, unlimited survey completions
• Search - 4-99SB prize for a search win - these are RANDOM!

The most common ways to earn more significant amounts of SB are surveys and offers. Many of us find that surveys kick us out after we've completed them (DQ'd), or simply don't credit - the best way to avoid this is taking screenshots of your progress and submit a ticket to the support department and if Mercury is in retrograde you might get lucky and be credited with the missing points. Same applies to offers - take screenshots of your purchase/sign up/whatever you have to do to complete the offer, and contact support if you haven't received your points.

What's the difference between the daily goal and the to-do list?
The daily goal (at the top of your screen) is a target set by Swagbucks, which once reached will reward you with bonus points. These points are not added to your ledger as you earn them - they accumulate and are made available at the beginning of the following month (usually the 5th). You must claim these by clicking your daily goal, and then the blue banner below your day's goal.

The to-do list (to the side of your screen) is a list of things you can do, which once completed will add a small bonus (usually 5-8SB) to your ledger immediately, although they won't count towards your daily goal.

What are instant surveys and where do I find them?
This question comes up all the time - instant surveys appear randomly on the front page, as a green box. They don't appear for everyone and often don't appear for long - if someone posts in the thread "Instant for xxSB" or the like, this is what they are referring to. If it appears for you too, awesome, if not, maybe next time! They tend to pay well for the amount of time they take (generally no more than a couple of questions) and will mark off the Gold Survey item on your to-do list.

Why do the games not work? All I get is a blank screen
This is a common problem, and seems to be to do with Flash. A couple of things may help if you're having trouble (these relate to Google Chrome but may also work in other browsers).

1) On the games page, click the padlock to the left of the URL and allow Flash. Then, after clicking the game and before I click "Play for free", I click the shield to the right of the URL bar and click "Load unsafe scripts" (obviously use your judgement on that one) and then the game loads after a couple of seconds.

2) On the game page, before clicking Play, zoom the screen out (CTRL and - on Chrome) and then click Play.

Is that what happens with latest formatting? I'm still using the original green layout and I can click for the end of the thread and not see the first post.

Green, which I still use as well, works the old way, but if you use the current one (that is now years old) or are not logged in then the first post of a thread appears at the top of every page - doesn't annoy too much if it's just a paragraph or two but the earlier swagbucks threads had a massive first post until the info was put in a separate thread

Unfortunately with VBulletin it doesn't seem to be possible to put text in an expandable/collapsible box, so as to avoid huge long posts Have tried to keep the first post relatively short, but will add more search links as they come up (eg the collectors bill search sexymouse posted this morning)

When I click on the 2019 thread the first post comes up. If that thread isn’t updated then the new searches won’t be added to it.
