NHS Dental check up?

I have phoned pretty much every dentist within a 20 mile radius and none of them do NHS dental check ups. Private, only. What's going on, is subsidised dental care no longer a thing since Covid? I haven't had a check up in years and I'm starting to worry!

P.S I had no idea which board to post this there doesn't seem to be a health related one.

(If you are in England) call NHS England’s customer contact centre 0300 311 2233.
other countries have their own numbers.
