I want to buy a tablet
Seems as though the deal for the Samsung Galaxy @HMV may not be happening. So...... does anyone have any idea of a similiar tablet in the same (ish) price range. I see on Amazon they have a Kindle Fire & HD. Are these the same type of thing.? I am still in the technological dark ages! Any help would be great Maureen

Saving contents of entire website
I currently subscribe to a well known consumer organisation, which provide reviews of things, then publishes this stuff in a members' magazine and website. ;) I intend to cancel the subscription in the name of cutting down. I will of course have all the magazines to return to, but I'll lose access to the website. Is there…

Wireless Printer/Scanner to Use with MacBook Pro & iPad
Hi, there are a fair few posts already about wireless printers on this forum which I've read through. I was wondering if there are any particular recommendations for a printer/scanner that will work with a MacBook Pro and iPad please. I quite like the idea of a paper tray rather than the paper feed. Many Thanks.

Trying to install SQL to write & run queries
I'm trying to learn SQL and have just attempted a download from mySQL. However, when I try to download the workbench, I get an error message which says something about needing Windows XP with SP3 and .Net 4.0 Client Profile. So I duly installed .Net 4.0 which then gave a 'blockage error'. Turned out this was nothing to do…

Missing megabytes
I have two ext HDDs on my desktop. One of them has started "losing" storage space - so to speak ! If the disk has, say, 331GB of data on it, it should show 600GB as being free - it is a 1TB disk. On two occasions, the space "occupied" and the free space do not add up to 931GB - the difference being several hundred GB. If I…
