Is it possible to put a password on a LibreOffice Writer document? I can't find an option for it in settings ...

Thanks, I usually save in .docx format for ease of switching between my netbook which has Libre and a p.c that doesn't.0

If your document is entirely text, without any graphics or tables in it, you'd probably be better off saving it in Rich Text Format, .RTF. This is supposed to be the most interchangeable format.0

I 'passworded' a .xls in M$ Excel then when I upgraded to Libre Office, it kept the password 'protection'
