Seems as though the deal for the Samsung Galaxy @HMV may not be happening. So...... does anyone have any idea of a similiar tablet in the same (ish) price range. I see on Amazon they have a Kindle Fire & HD. Are these the same type of thing.? I am still in the technological dark ages!
Any help would be great

Bod I asked a genuine question. You need to take one. Many thanks.Maureen0 -
Youtube is a fun site to learn about tablets/ readers.
Just spent the last weekend learning about new gizmos.
Have a good google session & decide what is important for you.
In the meantime keep your hard earnt cash in your pocket until you are sure you need the tablet/ reader or whatever for essential daily use.:T0 -
There is a lot of techy advice on the net as well as users experience which I find to be the most useful, have a good look around and don't rush into buying any old tablet, my advice would be to look at what you most want out of a tablet, price will be in there, don't jump onto the Apple cart pardon the pun. I have an I pad2 myself and have had since Xmas last(it was a gift) Now I would certainly look at the Galaxy from Samsung, and Nexus from Google If I was looking to buy tablet PC. Try and get one with a USB socket.
Hope this helps"Imagination is more Important than knowledge"0 -
Yeah shame that galaxy tab with 3g never happened. £149 was a ridiculous price, esp as the 32gb is over £500!
Nexus seems to be the benchmark for around £150-£2000 -
If you already have a BlackBerry, consider the Playbook for £109 upwards.0
