Last week I ordered a Toshiba laptop -the satellite a100- from ccl computers. The invoice and website specified 256mb ram. It has been so slow, so I have been checking the spec and find it has 192mb ram. Is this an error? The manual says an upgrade to 256 is available.

Laptop that won't switch on
Anyone had to deal with a laptop that won't switch on? It is not mine, some I know was using their Dell Inspiron and it just switched off and won't turn on. No lights are showing when the power cable is in. Even without the cable it won't switch on and the battery has charge in it. Any ideas what problem is?

I have just bought a Logitech Quickcam pro 5000. I have installed all software and drivers etc. When i try to use the camera, on the box where you can take a snapshot of something, there are just lines of colour rolling instead of the object :confused: Any ideas whats up? :confused:

I have bought a new laptop. It has come without microsoft word. Someone has told me to use an alternative such as 'open office' (?) which can be downloaded free.
