Help !! I submitted a letter about my ppi I didn't have a reference number so sent my details and the dates which I found on my credit report as it was 20 years ago they returned a letter saying unless I provide the ref number there's nothing they can do . Is there anything else I can do xx

I recently cllaimed for a mis sold bank package (Lloyds) - I was told they have until 23/8 to contact me regarding this which they havent as of yet. Has anybody else dealt with lloyds and how prompt are they normally. Just thought Id of heard back by now.

Should companies verbally tell you their %?
So, my husband did a ppi claim through a claim company. They did not verbally tell him their percentage (39%!!!), but it was on the paper work he signed. I know it is his fault, so please no comments on that, but my question is, should they have told him on the phone?

Old PPI Claim
I had mortgage protection with HSBC in around 2001/2 but do not know amounts paid etc. I have the policy number and the mortgage reference number to which it was linked but nothing else. When I last contacted HSBC in 2012 they said they could not do anything as their records had been destroyed. Is there anything I can do ?
