Help !! I submitted a letter about my ppi I didn't have a reference number so sent my details and the dates which I found on my credit report as it was 20 years ago they returned a letter saying unless I provide the ref number there's nothing they can do . Is there anything else I can do xx

You could send a SAR to their Data Protection Officer with the £10 fee, as sometimes that department can dig a little deeper, by searching archives and uncover old account details. The address will be on the lender's website under" privacy".
Is the credit report by Experian as I also found dates for a credit card I had from 1999 to 2003 on a old credit report, and was pleasantly surprised that when I phoned Experian they were able to give me the actual account number. It must have been a fluke that it had not been deleted, still worth a try.0 -
