I'm trying to sort out PPI claims for me and my wife. I have account numbers for most of my old cards & loans but most of my wifes loans are from car finance etc from 15 years ago. None of this information has come up on our credit reports and we know that there was definitely PPI on some of these loans & finance.
We have no paperwork or account numbers, my wife moved around numerous addresses due to work and we are lost as to how start these claims of.
Any advice appreciated.

For the loans and cards that you have the account numbers for, contact the banks and see if they can find your info.
If the banks cannot find you, you need to send a Sar letter to each bank, these are £10 per bank so very costly if that does not get you any info.
If the banks do find you and you did have PPI and have good reasons for mis sell, put the claims in.
The car Finance loans from 15 years ago will be a no go I am afraid.
Firms were not regulated at that time, even if you found info, doubt it after all this time, they do not have to do anything with these.0
