how far back can you go ??
I had a mortgage with HALIFAX for 10 years until 2003 but don't have any details to hand. Before the mortgage ( 1990-93 ) I had a car loan for 3 years with VW but don't have any paper work for that either. Is there any way I can check if I have a PPI case or not please

Don't know account numbers for PPI claim
I know I had credit cards in the past, which i no longer have. From my credit report, I can get the dates these cards were taken out and satisfied, but I don't know the account numbers, and I want to put in claims for PPI mis-selling - can i submit without account numbers, or is there a way of getting them?
