I have just received a letter from CPP, after having gone through the processed of voting and claim form. I'm a bit confused as to what it means. Am i going to get refunded or not? If someone could explain?..Here's what it says..
From CPP card protection.."Thankyou for your recent letter about your policy.
As you have submitted a claim for compensation under the scheme of arrangement, we are unable to complete any of the following actions on your policy.
* Cancel the policy with immediate effect.
* Refund any premiums collected on your policy.
* Update the payment details on your policy.
As part of your claim for compensation, any premiums due to you will be included in your redress under the scheme. Your policy will also be automatically cancelled as part of the claims process, as per the terms of the scheme".

I did have a letter from Cardguard the other day asking if i wanted to renew my policy from this year or did i want to cancel and i sent the renewal form back saying i didn't want it any more. So, i seems they'll take this years £3o odd quid out even though i said i didn't want it??
I'm getting lost with all of this!!:think:
