I had a mortgage with HALIFAX for 10 years until 2003 but don't have any details to hand.
Before the mortgage ( 1990-93 ) I had a car loan for 3 years with VW but don't have any paper work for that either.
Is there any way I can check if I have a PPI case or not please

Issues there are that car dealers did not become regulated until Jan 2005. So, most reject pre-regulation complaints as well as saying they dont have details.I had a mortgage with HALIFAX for 10 years until 2003 but don't have any details to hand.
Most MPPI complaints are rejected. Although Halifax are fairly easy as they usually auto payout on smallish amounts.
