Don't know account numbers for PPI claim

Options
I know I had credit cards in the past, which i no longer have. From my credit report, I can get the dates these cards were taken out and satisfied, but I don't know the account numbers, and I want to put in claims for PPI mis-selling - can i submit without account numbers, or is there a way of getting them?

  • The way I have dealt with the same type of situations recently is I have gone into my local Lloyds branch who ordered me some specific copy bank statements going back to 2001. From this I have got the relevant Account numbers; as shown on the statement and this kicked started some claims. One of which recently; First Plus, paid back over £10,000 from a loan that went back to 1998.
  • The next best thing is to send off the complaint, listing all of the addresses that have been associated with the account. This way, they can find the account details/numbers for you. It's worked for me, so it will, hopefully, for you too.

    Good luck!

You need t send a SAR to each complany to see what's left.
