Tracking Down Companies to reclaim PPI

Hi there, I am new to the forum and was wondering if anyone else was having difficulty with some of the companies that owe PPI refunds. I have found that two companies that had told me that I had to have PPI to take out a loan (ok, I was very naive at the time) that have stopped trading, Welcome Finance have got a company dealing with claims, so I am able to go through them, but I am unable to track down "Time" whatsoever. They provided a store card that could be used in the likes of Currys and Woolworths back in the late 1990s, but was actually given to me when I bought a laptop on finance from Currys. I know that there is at least one other person that knows of this company as I have seen their unanswered question on another forum, I was hopeful that maybe someone here may know of them, or who I should approach to find them.

No one 'owes' you a refund. You make a complaint that it was missold and see what happens.
Forget about Time, they are defunct, and it was sold to you prior to regulation.Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0 -
Apologies for getting my wording incorrect, I was after some assistance, and people said this was the best place to come, I will advise them otherwise.0

If you start the process thinking you will automatically get a refund, you might be disappointed, hence my comment. It does't help that everywhere people talk about PPI refunds as if it were a foregone conclusion.Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0

Like I said, apologies for getting my wording incorrect, I was naive to take the PPI in the first place, but have been looking into my options very closely since it was announced that some companies miss sold some policies. I was trying to find out about a company that I had a finance policy with, that was all. I have been successful with one of my complaints, and unsuccessful with another. I have two more companies (including the mighty Lloyds) to contact and complain to, and I was just after some info on Time. Thank you for your advice that Time are no longer trading.0
