PPI quick question

Hello all,
I called via telephone my bank and asked whether I had PPI insurance on a loan I have, plus historical loans, - they replied and said 'no' - but do I take this as a certainty - or would the bank say 'no' so i don't take it further?

If you don't believe them then you can spend £10 and do a data subject access request.
