Citigroup PPI claim declined, account sold on
Hi I am trying to claim on behalf of my recently deceased mum who had a credit card with citigroup on which she was paying PPI. She took out the card when she was retired due to ill health and therefore shouldn't, in my opinion, have had the PPI. I wrote to Citigroup in my capacity of executor explaining my claim and after…

How long do most people get their money?
Hi I had a PPI claim upheld with the bank I have sent the forms back and it said on the letter it can take up to 6 weeks to send you the money. I know they may be saying this to cover themselves but I wondered on average how long did most people have to wait for their money? Many thanks

Weird PPI situation HELP PLEASE
So, I have a successful claim against Barclaycard, and I have just had my lovely letter with my offer for compensation, BUT.....there is a catch!! They are taking a large sum of the compensation to cover the 'debt outstanding' on the credit card. This may sound perfectly logical, but it's not so clear cut, and I want to…

PPI going round in circles - Help!
Hi, Would appreciate some advice. I rang Marbles CC to make a PPI claim in December 2012, the lady on the phone was very unhelpful and advised me I'd never had PPI, but I would hear back in 6 weeks. Heard nothing, assumed nothing.... My CC balance has been zero for years, but on receiving a statement in June, was delighted…

PPI reclaim help please
Hey there First post - please be kind! :) might be long....... My husband was made redundant in April 2013. As part of a "finances refurb" in the light of redundancy, I have realised we have two separate payment protection insurance policies (which I thought was a life insurance on our mortgage but it's not). The first…

Consumer Money Matters PPI Claim
Hi Guys, My partner has been contacted about a possible PPI claim by a company called Consumer Money Matters. I have read the some of the threads on here, but wondered if anyone had any recent experience with them. If she went down the route of pursuing a claim herself, how easy is it to do? Thanks, Dave.

ppiclaimshelp.org help!
Hi there my boyfriend was using ppiclaimshelp.org to claim back his ppi, I realise people suggest you can do it yourself but I had tried to help him claim back his back charges and it took so much time and effort we just didn't have the energy to reclaim his ppi ourselves. So this company set the ball rolling and he heard…

HFC - delay in paying up
I accepted an offer and it should have been paid up by June 18th. Needless to say it wasn't - I contacted them and they told me that the payment had "bounced back", subsequently I asked them if they could send a cheque instead. They told me it can take upto 14 days for the cheque to appear - thats ok not worried about…

PPI Claim -Nationwide using scare tactics?
I recently put a PPI claim in against Nationwide, and they responded pretty quick saying they were looking into it. A few days later I received a letter saying I needed to go into my local branch with some I.D so they could progress my case, which I did the same day. I had no problems in the branch and they were actually…

Joint PPI help
My partner had a joint mortgage with his ex wife. His claim for mis-sold PPI was upheld and he was offered a joint PPI settlement with his ex. His ex wife has refused to sign the PPI settlement agreement and the bank are saying they will not release my partners share of the PPI without her signature. The situation as it…

Where to start?
Hello everyone, my mum and dad have decided to reclaim PPI on their loans and credit cards. However, my dad in particular has loans going as far back as 1980's. They dont have much , if any information on any of the loans. Where should they start? Should they write letters to all their banks asking for all information on…

How do I know if it was paid in one go?
Just received a letter from LTSB, about miss-sold PPI. I don't think the miss-selling part applies, but it also mentions refunds on re-financing. I did refinance/settle early several loans so, presumably, I would have been entitled to a refund of premium, if the insurance was paid in full, at the beginning of the loan. I…

I've been trying to start ppi claims on behalf of my brother, who has a learning disability. We are not sure but think he may have had insurance on 5 loans in the past. Canada Square Help
Hi. I recently put in a claim in against my PPI through Canada Square Operations. I've heard lots of good things about people getting back the money and when I was told what they had done wrong in the way it was sold I filled in the form, expressed my concern and sent it back. They sent me a letter back saying that during…

Barclays reject front loaded ppi
Hi. I had a loan for 8k in 1997. Barclays sent me thru the loan breakdown however didn't send me the first page showing the front loaded ppi insurance figure. But the brought forward figure was 9,501 so the ppi must have been 1,501. I proved to them too that the loan was for 8k as per a SAR report. Also my other 3 loans…

Another PPI Question but on a joint loan
I took out a joint loan with my ex-partner to pay off his credit cards when we were together and have just one consolidated payment cheaper. When we split up he stopped paying the loan and claimed he didn't have the money and so they came after me. I have continued to pay the loan for the last 3 years (£301.49 a month) and…
