How long do most people get their money?

I had a PPI claim upheld with the bank I have sent the forms back and it said on the letter it can take up to 6 weeks to send you the money. I know they may be saying this to cover themselves but I wondered on average how long did most people have to wait for their money?

Hello. The banks have to investigate all complaints made to establish if the cover was mis-sold. They have 8 weeks to respond to you and, if they find there was a problem with the way you were sold they will make you an offer.

Sorry, I have re-read your post and can see that they already found in your favour, that being the case it can take up to six weeks to process a payment.

Did you have to sign to accept the offer?

Every one will be different. If you work on 6 weeks, then if it comes earlier it will be a nice surprise...... Well done by the way
