Hi there my boyfriend was using ppiclaimshelp.org to claim back his ppi, I realise people suggest you can do it yourself but I had tried to help him claim back his back charges and it took so much time and effort we just didn't have the energy to reclaim his ppi ourselves.
So this company set the ball rolling and he heard from lloyds who asked him questions about his ppi but after this nothing. He regularly contacted the bloke from ppiclaimshelp.org who said lloyds were just taking their time, a tactic they use sometimes apparently! But he last spoke to them Tuesday and now he can't get hold of them. The website has gone, the guys mobile number dial tone has changed and the 0800 number says mail box full!
I guess we have been had! What should we do? I'm worried that they may have recieved the money and not told us!

its not a tactic. It is a consequence.I guess we have been had!I'm worried that they may have recieved the money and not told us!I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). Phew, thank you so much for your reply.
What should we do next? should we contact the bank, start the process again or selves or just wait?
Just out of interest how would the cmc get their money?0 -
The bank doesnt care about the CMC. The CMCs do nothing. So, your complaint will continue without them.
The bank pays you. You pay the CMC their share after you get the money.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. Thank you again for your reply, it has been at least a few months if not a lot longer since this all started. Should we contact the financial ombudsman?
Cheers0 -

Phone Lloyds and ask them what stage the complaint is at.0

If Lloyds sent a rejection notice, then you are out of time to go to the FOS as well.
If lloyds say there's no record, no problem, start again. If they say they sent a refusal letter, send another complaint, saying this was before they were fined. If they reject that one, then use the FOS.Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0 -
Where would they have sent the rejection notice to? and how long after that do you have to respond? _pale_0
-
They will have sent it to you. You have 6 months from that date to go to the FOS.
But the company may not even have put in a complaint.Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0 -
We haven't recieved anything from the bank about the case so fingers crossed0
