Barclays reject front loaded ppi

Hi. I had a loan for 8k in 1997. Barclays sent me thru the loan breakdown however didn't send me the first page showing the front loaded ppi insurance figure. But the brought forward figure was 9,501 so the ppi must have been 1,501. I proved to them too that the loan was for 8k as per a SAR report. Also my other 3 loans around this time also all had frontloaded ppi on that they have already paid out on. It's now with the fos as they rejected this saying not enough proof. Has anyone else been in this position and did the fos go in your favor ??????

erm..."not enough proof" when the PPI is clearly defined on the SAR you received from them? What more proof could they possibly need? I am asking that question with both incredulity and also with some curiosity in case I'm missing something - IS there any other proof that would be needed from the claimant?0

Think they are saying there is no proof it was missold, not that it existed.0

Sorry mate let me clarify, the SAR report stated the loan was for 8k. There was nothing on there for PPI. But as I said the b/f balance on page 2 was 9501 and with interest added monthly the only other thing the 1501 was for is PPI. They know this but because the 1st page is missing they rejected it.. just hoping the FOS use some common sense and see this.0

No defo saying no proof of ppi0

Reading the FOS publications on ombudsman decisions, it appears that front loaded is not the mis-sale reason it used to be. So, whilst it is still a reason to raise a complaint, it is not nailed on like it used to be.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). My first issue is hoping the fos go in my favour that the difference is frontloaded ppi, then I guess I will have to prove it was missold which was the case in my other 3 claims...0
