I have never lost my temper with a call centre person before, but I have just. I ordered a Panasonic twin phone from Amazon and was delighted that the parcel arrived next day. We ordered some boots from Millets last week. Although they were tracked there was no movement on the tracking from when they were picked up so as per Hermes instructions we had to contact Millets to find out where they were. Here is Millets response: Thank you for your email. I am very sorry to say, due to lack of…

Royal Mail failed to redeliver item five times and refuses to apologise.
I ordered a large item from an eBay seller and because I work part time knew I’d be the house until 3 on the day it was delivered. Unfortunately it didn’t come in time and I got home to a card saying delivery was attempted at 3.05 p.m. (typical…). I don’t have a car so couldn’t get the item myself but I thought I could…

Nationwide free travel insurance
Just a cautionary note here for account holders with Nationwide - as I could have fallen foul of it myself in all innocence. Re the free travel insurance for holders of the FlexAccount - we get free travel insurance if paying in at least £750 per month. So - I was doing so okay and then I retired at Retirement Age. That…

Tesco Direct problem with refund for Black Friday
I just wanted to post a warning for others. I ordered something from Tesco Direct on Black Friday, within 3 hours I had an email to say they couldn't fulfill the order. I assumed that because nothing had been dispatched etc I wouldn't get charged. However, a couple of days later I noticed that Tesco had taken the money. I…

Vodafone Refund NIGHTMARE
Ordered a PAYG phone from Vodafone, they said it would arrive in 2-4 days. It subsequently did not arrive and I rang up to cancel the order as it was simpler to order from Amazon prime and get it guaranteed the next day (which it did). Now, one would think they would automatically refund the £135 I paid for the phone but…

Amazon rejecting honest reviews
Amazon have now rejected a couple of my reviews. I'm annoyed because they were 100% truthful. However, I suspect they've been rejected because they were negative. I wanted to warn prospective customers of things that were wrong - it's so annoying to wait for a delivery which you expect to have by the time you need it only…

Tesco Mobile- aarrgghh!
Really taking the peesh, with lengthy delays transferring my number to a replacement SIM.. Several calls needed, differing reason given each time, and false hope.. Supposed 'goodwill' credits only covered money 'lost' on data bundles, that apparantly don't carry over.. Never mind the ££?? spent (yet to get home phone…
