Amazon missing package - urgent help please!!

Please read this before you think I haven't already read everything on the Amazon site and not taken any notice!
I ordered two gift cards for birthday presents, next day delivery, and the next day one of them turned up fine (I have everything delivered to my work address). I waited another day but the other one is a no-show. I checked the confirmation emails from Amazon and they were sent under separate cover (for whatever reason) but it also states they don't have any tracking details. Wading through all the Amazon Customer Service pages the best I can come up with is "contact the carrier" - fine, that is Royal Mail, but since I have no tracking number to give them, they aren't going to be able to help, are they? I'm £20 down, short of a birthday present and if nothing else, I want to stop anyone getting their paws on my card spending it at my expense. Can any kind person out there advise me please???

What have Amazon said?0

Yes, but how? I can't find an email address or telephone number. You just go round and round the same webpages. Even the Contact Us tab doesn't give me a way of doing so. Am I missing something?0

It's looking like Amazon maybe sent them first class signed for?
Was the other one signed for?
Could it be they tried to deliver the other one outside working hours and have or haven't left a card. Perhaps your company doesn't know who the card is for hence haven't told you about its existence?
Maybe contact your workplace local Royal Mail depot?P0 -

A quick look on Amazon brings up contact methods...
Go to Amazon.co.uk
At the bottom of the homepage click on 'help'
In the search box type 'contact amazon'
click on 'Support Options & Contact Us'
At the bottom click on 'contact us' next to the wording 'talk to a person'
You may need to sign in at this point
Under the item you have ordered that you want to talk to them about (section two), from the dropdown box click 'where's my stuff?'
Then click on the 'phone' button
Put in your phone number and you'll be called within seconds.
I've used this before to good effect, resulting in a praise post on here recently.0 -

No, not signed for. They were on the same order and were dispatched together. Work is a University and the guys at the front desk are well used to stuff coming in for me. Even if my name was missing, my office number is on the address.0 -

Yay, brilliant, many thanks for that. I've phoned them and they will send a replacement. I knew some bright spark here would be able to advise!0 -
i had a gift card "delivered" last week by amazon logistics,
showed tracked as at my address but nothing here,
got told to wait 24hrs before they can do anything in case it magically appears even though i said unless its delivered by 6am then it'd be returned anyway.
then they offered me a replacement the next day and a £5 credit,
but no good as i needed the gift card sooner,
got money back in my bank account the next day and then i tried the £7 bonus code they were offering on £30+ orders and it knocked £2.99 off an order
they didn't seem too bothered as to where the card ended up, but guess its easy to cancel the code0
