Yet Another Hermes Thread

Part of the Furniture 10,000 Posts Name Dropper Photogenic

Dropped off at my local shop N Scotland 0930 Thurs 10th, received Somerset 10.15 Sat 12th :T

But parcel on its way to me from SE England, dropped off at shop 16.00 Tue 8th, has been with my local courier since 07.56 yesterday morning :(


edit: delivered 11.15 this morniong by a right grumpy old sod !

    Tenth Anniversary Combo Breaker
    2 of my daughter's ordered clothes from the same retailer on Monday morning for next day delivery... one parcel came Wednesday... the other one has just arrived after receiving txts from Hermes 4 days in a row informing her of 'your parcel is with the courier and will be with you shortly '.... Now either she has been driving round with it for 4 days or they were lying.

    Similar event for me, Poppie.
    I sent an e-mail complaint to the sellers (reputable company); shortly after the H.courier dropped off my small parcel. Poor lass looked harassed and tired (must have been all that driving around, not delivering my goods...). I am now feeling rather guilty :o

    The rain soaked waif turned up here this morning in a Citroen Picasso filled to the roof from the back window to the back of the front seats....I'm sure it's a pretty thankless job and all for less than 50p per parcel.
