We ordered some boots from Millets last week. Although they were tracked there was no movement on the tracking from when they were picked up so as per Hermes instructions we had to contact Millets to find out where they were. Here is Millets response:
Thank you for your email.
I am very sorry to say, due to lack of movement, Hermes have declared this order as lost.
May I please ask if you would like a refund or a replacement order?
I apologise for the inconvenience this may of caused you and assure you this is not typical of the level of service we provide
This is the third time now that Hermes have lost my orders and I will definitely not use any company that I am aware uses Hermes in future.:(
No doubt the boots will be on ebay this week.
I know it's the Mail but this happened last week as well:

Never use any company that uses courier.0

I love Hermes, and have only ever had first class delivery/collection by Hermes. If I ever get let down it will be just that time, that delivery/that collection, not all of them.0

For certain sizes/weights, Royal Mail isn't an option.
For couriers, you can't beat DPD's system.0 -
Hermes put my parcel in my wheelie bin yesterday LOL
They are delivering Amazon goods right now and I think Amazon must have forgotten to tell them to leave parcels in my back porch if I am not at home.0 -

This is a major retailer and they employ people who cannot even compose a simple e-mail using English - it should be "may have caused"!hollie.weimeraner wrote: »I apologise for the inconvenience this may of caused you and assure you this is not typical of the level of service we provide.0
