Totally agree with this. DPD are the best and I would happily pay a bit more for delivery to use them every time.


Hermes on the other hand are godawful. They do not give a **** about anything. Delivery times, days etc not a jot. Not to mention the lying about "delivery attempts". Never had anything resembling a good experience with them. I hope they go bust and whoever is in charge of that garbage doesn't get to run a company again.

I recently bought something from eBay, the listing said RM 1st class, I thought 'Great, If I miss the delivery, I can just pop down to the Sorting Office'.

Then I got an automated email from Hermes saying they were delivering it and giving me a tracking reference.

It was 49 hours from the time it was collected by the courier to the time it was sorted at Hermes national hub.

Estimated delivery was Wed or Thurs - it arrived late Saturday morning but at least I was in.
