Mitchell and Butlers Restaurants- E Mail address for complaints

I orginally posted this item in the Discussion forum but it was suggested by another contributor that I posted it in the Vents section so here it is I hope it helps

Mitchell and Butlers PLC owns several chains of restaurants including All bar One, Crown Carveries, Ember Inns, Harvesters ,Sizzling Pubs, Toby Carveries and Vintage Inns. We wanted to complain about an incident at a Harvester restaurant and did not want to discuss on the phone or write a letter. We looked everywhere for a Company E Mail address and could not find one .Eventually we identified the following E Mail address guest.care@mbplc. We then submitted our complaint and it was resolved satisfactorily after a couple of E Mails. We thought this might be useful information for people wanting to E mail the company with a complaint.

I had a problem at my local Harvester and used M and B feedback and got nowhere. I could not find an E mail address for them so ended up phoning. After a while thy sent me £15 worth of vouchers. The E mail address is very useful although I hope I don't have cause to complain again. If iot is a minor point them it sily to complain but nowadays if there a real issue then complainIt would appear in general British people have been reluctant to do but it appears the attitude is now changing.

We had a problem at one of M and B's Toby carveries which could have been dealt with at the time but the Manager suddenly disappeared when we said we wanted to complain. Consequently we went onto M and B's webiste where there was no e Mail address but a phone number.Our complaint was dealt with in a sympatetic manner on the phone which resulted in us getting a free meal. The addition of an E Mail contact is useful and hopefully mitchell and Butlers will add to their contact information on their web site. it is true many of the British public don't like to complain which mean restaurants etc get away with bad service, food etc.

Very useful information. I have checked and the E Mail address does not appear on Mitchell and Butlers Web Site under contacts.
