Parcel Force deliver to a post office that's 4 miles away

Options
A friend has sent me some Christmas presents, which was very nice of her since I hardly see her. However she sent them by Parcel Force.

I didnt receive them when she said I should so I asked for the tracking code.
They tried to deliver on the 3rd but no card was left so I don't know how I'm supposed to know.
Later that day they dropped it off at a post office that's 4 miles from me.
There are 2 nearer post offices than that one.
I don't drive so have no way of picking it up and it's not in the safest area to walk.

I messaged them on facebook and the person who replied didnt seem to care. My friend paid over £12 for delivery and they have delivered it 4 miles away which is shocking. I know couriers are busy at the moment but this is crazy, even hermes are better and they charge 2.80 or so.

Further I run a business that sends out at the moment about 160 boxes a day using UPS who are fantastic, I keep getting calls from Parcel Force to use them but now I have more reasons not to.

Is there a rep from Parcel Force who can contact as I think their service is shocking.
