Lowry theatre, great customer service

A few months ago I booked to see a show at the Lowry theatre, very pleased to get a couple of seats pretty much in the centre of 4th row of the main circle.
Then last week I was told I needed hip replacement surgery, am booked in for it in Feb and then realised it would be just 3 weeks before the show. There's no way I could get into the seats I'd booked and surgeon has advised I might need some kind of booster seat as well as clearly needing to be on an aisle on the hip that's been done. So I rang the Lowry to see what options are available but there's no other seating that would be suitable. I know the tickets clearly state non-refundable but thought I'd ask; the guy I was talking to went off to find a supervisor then said they'd happily refund full cost. I did say I would try to sell privately (which I later managed to do) but he was so nice, said he had a note on my booking and any time I rang back if unable to sell, they would make sure I was fully refunded. So nice for a human touch - well done Lowry :T
