Vent - Channel 4 website 'live Paralympic coverage' / praise IPC website
I don't have any television reception in my flat, so I watch all channels over the internet. This was fine for the BBC's coverage of the Olympics - I got to see everything I wanted to see with no hassle. Now Channel 4 has taken over coverage of the Paralympics, though, all I get, if I'm lucky, is an error message to the…

Misdelivered parcel, what do we do with it?- Yodel vent/warning
First a warning - Yodel are useless, never use them. We just had a parcel thrown over the gate, the delivery man didn't knock, and there was a 'Sorry I missed you' slip shoved through the door, not filled out except the date. The parcel is not for us, it's somewhere miles and miles way. Secondly a vent - how can someone be…

Idiot royalmail at it again.
As well as being unable to properly deliver letters it seems they want the ability to just not bother posting other items as well when they fall into certain categories. This time they're trying again to ban anything gun related from being posted. In fact they're even trying to use their poor standards as an excuse!!!…

PPI reclaiming company vent
Just had a call from some woman from a PPI reclaiming company. Asked if I'd ever had PPI on a loan, credit card or mortgage. Yes, I answered, but I asked for it. You can claim it back, she said. Why would I do that if I asked for it, it wasn't missold, I said. Because you are entitled to it, she said. So after arguing with…

OH and I love geeky things so when we found a pair of fully functioning Star Wars lightsabers online in Cash Converters Widnes store we had to have them. They arrived yesterday, beautifully packaged, but one of them was missing a very tiny plastic piece from the hilt of the saber. (a part so insignificant to the non geek…

UGroup/Consumer Choice
Can't seem to shake off these two 'telephone' calling companies. Doesn't matter how many times I say I'm not interested in whatever their product/enquiry is about - they just keep on ringing me. UGroup - 01902 440153 Consumer Choice - 020 3575 4049 Well, that's what they claim their telephone numbers are! I opted in to…

Co-housemate falsely accusing of non-payment of bills.
Hello MSE forum - this is my first post but I shall try to cut to the crux of the matter. My partner and myself rented a 3-bedroom house with another couple between October 2011 and June 2012 on a shared lease through an estate agent, but by Feb 2012 the other couple started making accusations of us not paying bills and…

Sony and the mystery purchase
Really quite annoyed with Sony at the moment. Here's why... A couple of days ago, I got an email saying that my Sony Entertainment Network (SEN) account had funding added and a game purchased. At the exact time of the purchase, I was in the shower! I have two devices connected to the SEN, my PS3 and my Sony Tablet. Fearing…

Dominos pizza online order warning
Hi, Wasn't sure whether to post this as in some way a bit embarrassing to get caught out as we did last night. We ordered a pizza online from Dominoes to be delivered to our home (which it was). Minuted after placing the order we had a phone call from someone claiming to be from Dominoes wanting to check our payment…

Praise - Sky TV
Well I'm impressed. My father recently went into a care home, he has dementia, and I'm having to sort out his affairs. I went to visit Mum during my lunch break and she was watching the news. They had Sky+ with all the channels except the film package. Dad liked the sport and the documentary stuff. I asked her what…

Virgo Home Improvements Sales Calls
Just thought I'd warn anyone interested to avoid buying anything from Safestyle UK unless you want Virgo Home Improvements to call you every 2-3 weeks for eternity. The poor telesales people always plead ignorance: "one of my colleagues called you quite some time ago". Oh, is last week some time ago? I have a bit of fun…
