Well I'm impressed. My father recently went into a care home, he has dementia, and I'm having to sort out his affairs.
I went to visit Mum during my lunch break and she was watching the news. They had Sky+ with all the channels except the film package. Dad liked the sport and the documentary stuff.
I asked her what channels she watched and it seems she only ever watches the BBC, 1 & 2 and ITV1, a quick look at the Sky+ showed no recordings at all.
After explaining the set up it was obvious she doesn't need Sky so I called them to cancel the package.
I was half expecting an argument, only deal with account holder, free offers to get them to stay, that sort of thing.
They were fantastic. I explained the situation and they couldn't have been nicer, have cancelled the package and DD with immediate effect and are refunding Dad's account with the last payment as it was only taken two days ago.
