Big Praise - Cash Converters

OH and I love geeky things so when we found a pair of fully functioning Star Wars lightsabers online in Cash Converters Widnes store we had to have them.
They arrived yesterday, beautifully packaged, but one of them was missing a very tiny plastic piece from the hilt of the saber. (a part so insignificant to the non geek eye you'd never know it should be there!)
OH emailed Widnes store last night when he got home from work and was amazed when they called him at 8.30am this morning. After explaining the problem the manager promised a call back ASAP and true to his word called back within half an hour to say they had scoured the store and found the small plastic part! It had seemingly fallen off when packing the sabers. Part is now in the post and on its way.
So, massive thanks to Cash Converters for brilliant service. I'd buy from you online again in a heartbeat.

Shouldn't you save the praise until you receive the part...?0 -

Why? I can always update the thread if it doesn't appear. Service thus far has been exemplary and worth praising.0 -
And to update, the part arrived this morning via Special Delivery. Absolutely brilliant service. Thanks to the manager at Widnes.0

'Cash Converters' or as I call it, 'House of broken hopes and dreams'
Now I love cash converters (and their ilk) and all their random stuff, but the terrible prices they pay to buy 2nd hand goods and some of the dismal stuff they sell just puts me in mind of poor desperate people, peddling their meagre possessions for pence as they slide inexorably down the slippery slope of misery to the ditch of financial gloom.
One I went in was selling old picture frames for about 50p, which means some poor sod brought them in to sell and presumably received about 5p to go towards their rent/drugs/pimp costs etc. Desperation indeed.0 -
I know, the proliferation of Cash Converters, 'Cash Your Cheque' shops, and betting shops that are suddenly everywhere, makes me depressed too. Sounds like good service, though.0
