Vent - Channel 4 website 'live Paralympic coverage' / praise IPC website

I don't have any television reception in my flat, so I watch all channels over the internet. This was fine for the BBC's coverage of the Olympics - I got to see everything I wanted to see with no hassle.
Now Channel 4 has taken over coverage of the Paralympics, though, all I get, if I'm lucky, is an error message to the effect of 'sorry, this video doesn't seem to be working - please try again later'. If I'm unlucky, I get two to three minutes of adverts followed by an error message to the effect of 'sorry, this video doesn't seem to be working - please try again later'. So far I've managed to watch five minutes of the opening ceremony on Wednesday, and two minutes of the wonderful Clare Balding talking in a studio yesterday, in both cases followed by that <activate swearword filter> error message and nothing else for the rest of the evening.
I've sent a message via their contact form and the automated reply promises a response within 7 days - by which time the Paralympics will be best part over.
Come back BBC - your occasionally inane commentary and obsession with celebrities are quite forgiven.
Vent over - sorry!

In my opinion, the coverage by Channel 4 has so far been diabolical.
You haven't missed much. I was really looking forward to seeing these games, and by day 2 I feel I have seen very little.
Also to those who can see it, any idea why the table the commentators sit at is so big ?0 -
Having typed all that, the website seems to have taken the hint and is now working - the image quality's dreadful, but at least I can see it!
Now I can see just how bad the coverage is... :undecidedBack after a very long break!0 -
That's about right ! The dodgy table people have just signed off for the swimming !0

It was outrageous that perhaps the most spectacular sequence of the Opening Ceremony, the blazing aircraft overhead right at the start, was only barely glimpsed on a monitor over Jon Snow's shoulder.
It seemed as though, throughout the ceremony, the presenters were only vaguely aware of the order of play.0 -

So glad I am not alone. Every time a competitor went to wave they changed camera or went to adverts. THE MANY ADVERTS.
And the GB team were interviewed while other teams entered the stadium, which I thought was very rude.:(0 -
How I hate the coverage of the Paralympics, Channel 4 have done the athletes and us a huge disservice, with the awful coverage, inane chatter, adverts, and boring commentary. What a terrible shame!0

6 advert breaks in 3.5 hours I'm led to believe. Not excessive on an advert funded channel.0 -

Yes I have. It's how Channel 4 is funded. The adverts are often going to be screened at the 'wrong time'. The coverage on the ad free BBC has been diabolical....why? Because they did not bid for the rights?0 -

You really think this coverage is an improvement ?0
