Talktalk replacing entertainment boost with now tv
I renewed my contract with Talktalk in August, on the basis of landline, faster fibre and the entertainment boost which gave me the channels I wanted to view and the ability to record those channels. Yesterday I received an email stating that from next year the entertainment boost will be withdrawn and if you wish you can…

Porting mobile number
Changed mobile provider from EE to Virgin as cheaper. They ported the number in a day. But then after contacting customer services informed that it could take upto 5 days before I will receive calls. Surely this can't be right? Can anyone help me with this? Where do I stand? Is this allowed?

TV licensing spying on home internet usage
I've never had a TV license because I don't watch live TV or iPlayer. I got a letter today saying that 'you previously told us you didn't need a license at this address. However, our records show that you have used BBC iPlayer on a number of occasions over recent weeks.' My friend visited and watched TV on his phone using…

Nuisance calls
Fed up of getting nuisance calls at home, if I'm filling in my details I started putting my work number. Now of course I'm getting the calls all the time at work - a pause then a foreign voice asking to speak to me. I'm sure the number keeps changing as I know they can do that - it's 01285 624309 today. Claim to be from UK…

I was horrified this weekend when went to use my white NowTV box to receive the message “no longer compatible”. BT Billing Errors & Inept Customer Service
This is a resume of my experience with BT - the full details are mind-numbingly painful, but I do have records of everything that transpired. In September 2020 my 18 month contract was incorrectly ended
after only 12 months (thought I wouldn't notice?) and they billed me £20.49 more than they should. What
followed were…

Virgin Media TV downgrade confusion
I am trying to reduce the cost of our Virgin Media package. We have a customer loyalty reduction, but this is coming to an end in December. Probably the best way is to reduce the TV package as there is a lot of channels that never get used. The current TV package we are on is “Full House” which is an old package I think.…
