It's now up on the RAC forums, Motoring.co.uk Forums and has been posted on quite a few Facebook groups dedicated to complaining about the…

How ever there is a Pizza Hut…

Parking Collection Services got my address from the DVLA (illegal?)
According to the 'notice to owner final reminder' letter I received states they have contacted the DVLA in order to obtain the details of the resgistered keeper (me). * How is this cowboy company allowed to do this? * Why would the DVLA give out my details to them? * Any Advice? Thanks!

town and country parking go all geeky.
I posted a while back about how the unwashed sphincters at TCP had come over all techie and invested in cutting-edge technology that virtually guarantees that anyone using my local waitrose car park will be issued a 'ticket' for overstaying from 1 min upwards. to recap: all bays are now numbered and fitted out with a…

Parking at Newquay Bay - Parking eye warning
Thought i'd write a warning for other Newquay visitors. Last month I parked at Newquay bay. I paid £7.20 for a full days parking after entering my car reg details into the machine and displaying my ticket. 10 days after arriving home I received a letter from Parking eye demanding £90 which rises to £120 after 2 weeks. Now…

I have visited this…

Another Roxburghe/Excell thread
Hi All, I recieved a "parking ticket" from Excell parking services earlier in the year on an occasion where I'd actually bought a ticket but it had fallen from the dashboard. I appealed against it sending them a copy of the ticket, unsuprisingly my appeal was rejected. After reading lots of very helpful information on this…

Then last week I parked as usual and coming back I get a fine on my windscreen "parked in residents place without displaying the permission" blah, blah,…

Should I challenge this parking fine? (with pictures)
Hi all, I received the parking fine notice from my council and would like to ask for your advice. If I read the traffic sign correctly, then I could park my car on the right hand side of the road after 10 am during weekdays. That was what I did. However, I still received the fine notice. This traffic sign also includes…

Pay & Display Scam in Merton
Most council pay & display machines charge by the minute. So say in Chelsea you pay £3.00 for 60 min: 10p gets 2 mins, 50p gets 10 mins, and so on - whatever change you have for pro rata time. Fair game! 50p = 10 min time to go to toilet. NOT SO in Merton they only charge £1.45 per 30 minute slots. (minimum charge) But if…

My good deed for the day
Left work at half five and saw a fake PCN, two in fact, on a car in the car park. Went back to work, grabbed a pen and a bit of scrap paper, wrote a note telling them not to pay and left a link to here, opened the little plastic packet and placed it inside. Fingers crossed the PPC didn't see me do it! :D I had to laugh at…
