Hi All,
I recieved a "parking ticket" from Excell parking services earlier in the year on an occasion where I'd actually bought a ticket but it had fallen from the dashboard.
I appealed against it sending them a copy of the ticket, unsuprisingly my appeal was rejected.
After reading lots of very helpful information on this site and a few others I have refused to pay and low and behold I am now getting bombarded by Roxburghe and Graham White.
I have reported all those concerned to the office of fair trading,
but the calls and texts keep coming. Has anyone had any experience of actually getting them to stop? Is the best case to ignore them or shall I write a letter informing them that any further contact will be deemed harrasment?
Thanks in Advance

You could write to them, but that would cost you money. If you can stand it, just play the ignorance game and they will eventually go away. When they phone, either ask them to hold and put the phone down while you go for a bath, or have laugh, waste their time, rack up their phone bill:
A: Hello
B: Hello, I am calling from Roxburghe Debt Collection agency, is that Mr X?
A: No, it's Mike
B: Mike who? Is Mr X available?
A: Mike Hunt, no he isn't... But Mustafa is.
B: Who is Mustafa? When is the best time to call to speak to Mr X?
A: Mustafa Crap. Probs best to call when Mr X is home.
B: Oh. When will that be?
A: Not sure....
B: Oh.... ok then.
A: Bye.
The latter approach could be funny. Be imaginative.

Tell them you will only speak to a real solicitor. That will certainly fox them!!Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0

...or just stop them by answering the phone, saying 'yes it's me the registered keeper and you MUST now listen. The alleged debt is DENIED and I have already reported you to the OfT for harassment so your contact must cease immediately.'
Use the word 'harassment' and 'denied' very clearly, repeat if need be then end the call. If they contact you again (and Roxburghe/Graham White are one and the same) then report them AGAIN to the OfT. The more complaints the better as the OfT are already 'minded to revoke' Roxburghe's CCA licence!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I quite like the idea of playing games with them, but they ring when I'm at work so I never get the chance! Ha ha.
Oh well, looks like I'll save the price of a stamp and carry on ignoring them :mad:0
