MP calls on Portsmouth City Council to take action over Cosham clampers:-

Note the company's excuse for returning all those "appeals":-
Kevin Kelehan of LBL said letters had been sent back to motorists because they were sent by recorded delivery. As City Watch has a post box address, recorded items cannot be signed for.
He said: ‘People should send their letters by normal delivery to the company’s address. They have assured me that they have a robust appeals process in place
To quote the Royal Mail website:-
'If anything has to be signed or paid for, we'll leave an advice card in your PO Box.'

Umm, yes. It would be nice to think that PCC had fouled up and failed to get the usual absolute indemnity.
