Hi, could anyone give me any tips as to how I can cater on a budget for 50ish people. Drink is sorted so its just the food. I do have Iceland Vouchers for £20 so that's going to help. What would you do?

lemon juice odour neutraliser
Hi, I am hoping someone can help with this. I heard somewhere that a lemon juice and water solution will make a good alternative to something like febreeze. Slow cooker Ribs/Gravy?
I've cooked ribs in my slow cooker and will finish off in the oven.. Can I make a gravy our of the cooking juices (water, 4 tbsp bbq sauce and whatever came out of the ribs)??

Can I freeze eggs?
I have a load of eggs that are about to go out of date. I've boiled some to use in packed lunches next week, but the rest just won't get used. If I break the others into an ice cube tray, will they be Ok to freeze? I can use them in baking once defrosted then. Any issues with freezing eggs?

frozen croquettes
Hello! Well I am doing this fiscal fast thing, and I found a full bag of frozen potatoe croquettes in the freezer. But they say they are only for the deep fat frier, which I don't have anymore..... so do you think ill be able to do them in the oven? Any ideas? Thanks in advance! :) Sandy x

help need leek recipes
We have an allotment and still have lots of leeks. When slice then open they are going to seed, have the think centre. What should I cook wish then, I am at a loss. Have done with cabbage, done wrapped in bacon in cream sauce and instead of onions. Now I am stuck. Thanks in advance.:)

Pockmarked wool coat...
I don't really know how to describe this, but I have a lovely woollen coat that is kinda pockmarked around the pocket area where my bag constantly brushes against it. Is there any way to rescue this area, to get rid of the marks, old-style or not(!)? Thanks!
