Smelly Metal Flasks

Hello,
I'm looking for abit of advice, I love having coffee in the morning and tend to take it in one of my ever growing collection of small metal flasks, (this one being the newest http://www.amazon.co.uk/Family-Guy-Brian-Mojito-Flask/dp/B00DC30K8O ) Problem is they are starting to get quite a funky smell now.
They get cleaned the same day and on occassion when I've forgot about them the day after and I tend to store them with the lids ect on them. The coffee is a caramel latte.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to get rid of the smell and also maybe how they store their flasks as I am starting to get quite a collection and they all get used and I want to get the most of out them.
Thanks for any help in advance!

I've never had a problem with smelly flasks, DH uses one every day and has done for 20+ years
I rinse out each evening, use bicarb of soda for a thorough soak every few weeks and store with lids offEverything will be alright in the end so, if it’s not yet alright, it means it’s not yet the endQuidquid Latine dictum sit altum videtur0 -
store with lids off.. soak overnight with water and a spoon of bicarb.. rinse thoroughly leave to drain then store open.. stale stagnant water/air in your flask is gross and stinks.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0

Not having problems yet. I take a quadruple espresso with me to the library every day (as I am there all day) so will start soaking with bicarb of soda once a week!Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature.
