Cleaning smoke damaged kitchen
Tomorrow morning I am going round to a friend's house, where it appears her DH has set fire to something, and left the kitchen covered in soot. My friend is away, due back tomorrow evening, and while I'm 100% sure she'll find out what's happened (I'll tell her if he doesn't!), I'd like for her not to have to clean the…

Can any of the Old Stylers give me some advice, please, and stop me possibly poisoning my guests? I'm having a 'gathering' in a couple of weeks and, because people may well be in and out of the garden all day (I live on the route of the bike ride) I'm going to make a big curry and then I'm hoping to leave it in a slow…

unblock drains?
Hi Having problems with kitchen and downstairs bathroom drains. Both regularly clog up, and the water at times takes ages to drain. I have tried bi-carb of soda, and on other occasions, a few kettles of hot water. Both work, but not for long. Any other ideas?
