    Hi
You can try dropping down a brand .. i have started using the everday value things alot and they are good..
    cornfalkes for brekkie (about 37p)
    porridge for brekkie too
cordial juices are good (around 40p)
pasta sauce is nice (39p) i normally add a few jalepinos as i like it sicey and a jar with some pasta does loads of meals.
they do a countrylife (i think) mince and its only £2.40ish which is goood as its lean too.
    EV biscuts are really good
EV tinned potatoes with some chunks of onion and some curry sauce over baked in the oven is yum, and they have (did have the other week) the tesco nann breads in the chiller buy 2 get 1 free so about 40p for 6 nann breads ;)
EV lemon curd is nice and ive used it to make lemon tarts and lemon cake (boys fave)
The EV chocolate is good to 30p a big bar and use with some cornflakes to make cakes with the kids.
EV grated chees £2.40 - i though this was expensive at first but its a massive bag and lasts ages !
    EV pasta/lasagne sheets - good
    EV wraps 8pk (80pish)
EV dishwasher tablets are good (£1.60ish)
they do a cheap laundry gel (£1) and its suprisingly good .. i think its called enrituals.

meal wise theres a few cheaper meals to make which are yum ...
    toad in the hole
    pasta above
    curry above
    home made quiche
home made pies (use cheese left over from quich and onion from curry)
i have used the pasta sauce to make lasagne as well (i leave the cheese sauce out though as boys dont like it)
    wraps for lunch
jacket pots and cheese or beans
home made coleslaw with chicken (try to get woopsied when you can) i have used the frozen chicken portins before and these were nice
i also buy there KFC rip off frozen boxes and we have a home made takeaway on a saturday night ;)

I normally have a little book i do my meal plan in and on the opposite page write my shopping list, i also write if any of the things ive tried havent been very nice ... so far only EV bread and EV gravey granuals on there ..
My best tip would be to meal plan write a shopping list and stick to it ... im coming in at under £20/week for me and my 2 boys (10,10) and there friends when they are here at meal times ;)

Oh and if you havent already join the Grocery Challange .. having to write the total spend down makes you think twice and its a nice boost when you see how little you have spent !
