can anyone recomend some easy and quick cake or biscuit recepies please. :D we are cutting down on spends on these items so would like to make some instead. i tend to make muffins/fairy cakes and can make flapjack and hobnobs.

What to do with dough that did not rise?
Help please! A couple of hours ago I got some bread going but the yeast must be too old and the dough has not risen at all.
