Here;s one and its a chuck it all in one.
8 oz flour
4 oz sugar
small spoon of bicarb
2 eggs
2 large spoons of black treacle
As much dried fruit as you want, ie 4 handfuls or more.
Chuck it all in together, add some milk. It needs to be a little runny.
Put into 2 loaf tins, bake about 45 mins at £160
Let it cool, slice and butter. it is just so easy.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
Shortbread
100g sugar, 200g butter, 300g plain flour or that ratio for higher or lower amounts. Mix together until dough, roll + cut, bake for 10-15 mins until slightley golden and sprinkle with suger...or decorate with icing
Snowflake design icing for a festive theme.

Ive recently tried the Twinks hobnob recipe, found on MSE grocery challenge (as mentioned by Craigyvw).
A great biscuit, quick, easy and cheap to make and everyone loves them.
Our favourites cake is lemon drizzle. I usually make these as fairy cakes so they are easy for lunch boxes / portion control. Just buy 1 lemon, add half the juice to the cake mix and save the other half for disolving in sugar for the top.
Look forward to seeing all the other recipe ideas, happy baking. ;-)0 -
another idea is the tesco value sponge cake mix, this is about 25p i think and just needs and egg if i remember rightly (handy for if you'r short on one of the usual ingrediants)0
