How much of your kids school work do you keep?
Hi Everyone, I'm asking this question in the name of decluttering! DD is 9 and DS is 6. They bring home little pictures that they've coloured in, paper clocks, collages etc.....this stuff sort of hangs around the house (drawers, next to microwave, in between files...). I do put all the work that they bring home at the end…

Gaston costume - help!
My daughter's drama group is doing beauty and the beast and I have been asked to create Gaston's costume. I think I have all I need but I am struggling with ideas on how to "bulk up" gaston from a weedy 9 year old boy to more like the Disney character. Any ideas on how I can sew padding best in an outfit?

Fed up of spending £80 plus on shopping.
Please could I see your meal plans and a list of what you buy as I can never get my shopping under £80 a week and it is all homemade and value. I do not believe that anyone can feed their family healthily for less than this. But I would like to know how and try and do it. We are 2 adults, two children and a cat and a dog.

Nervous of my own challenge - reduce or stop spending!
Even though I spend ever such a lot of money per month, I have become very OS in my ways since joining MSE. It was my birthday yesterday and while away for the weekend I began singing my own praises about how well I do nowadays. My family all indulge me in it being a bit of a joke (MSE: because I spend so much) so I laid…

Dried weight and tinned weight = chickpeas

Any ideas what I could do with the quilted bit?
