Gaston costume - help!

My daughter's drama group is doing beauty and the beast and I have been asked to create Gaston's costume. I think I have all I need but I am struggling with ideas on how to "bulk up" gaston from a weedy 9 year old boy to more like the Disney character. Any ideas on how I can sew padding best in an outfit?

you could get flesh colour tights, cut bits the right length for his arms then put one inside each other, stuff them as appropriate to make muscle sleeves? they can be attached to the top and then he has gloves on which would cover the bottom bit by the wrist..
and you could line and quilt his top if you are good at sewing with stuffing for muscles, or make a muscle vest to go underneath..0
